MUSCAT: In an impressive ceremony held on Thursday at PSM Library hall, the draws were held for the much-awaited PSM Ramadhan Tape ball event.
Team managers and captains of 20 teams were present at the draws ceremony. The chief organiser Syed Jameel Zaidi conducted the draws with Coordinator Mr Abdul Qayum, sports head of PSM, in the presence of honourable members of PSM Board – Mr Amir Saeed, Mr Irashad, Sr Principal Mr Nasir Khatak.
The chief organiser thanked the teams and their participation in this most famous Tape ball cricket tournament in the Muscat cricket calendar over the last 3 decades, held at the venue after a gap of four years.

PSM board members all praised the teams for their interest and thanked them for their participation in the event. Mr Nasir Khatak asked the teams to bring their families to make this a more vibrant event as mouth-watering Pakistani cuisine will be spread out at PSM to enjoy.
The draws were conducted in a professional manner in front of all representatives of the teams. Mr Haider Ali, part of the Technical Committee, uses the latest technology in such events. Mrs Azra Aleem, Urdu Commentator, assisted the chief organiser and the team for a smooth flow of draws.
On Friday, April 15, the opening ceremony will be held with a match played between PSM Seniors and Pakistan Embassy at 9.30 pm. All have been cordially invited to witness live cricket action along with a scrumptious spread of delicacies.
