MUSCAT: In what could be a proud moment for Oman, Her Highness Sayyida Basma Al Said, founder and clinical counsellor of Whispers of Serenity Clinic has been appointed as a judge for the prestigious Diana Awards 2022.
The Diana Awards honours young people who work to improve the lives of others. Named after Diana, Princess of Wales, the award was established in 1999 by a board chaired by Gordon Brown. The Award is the most prestigious accolade a young person aged 9-25 can receive for their social action or humanitarian work.
“Every year, The Diana Award Charity welcomes volunteer judges to assess nominations for the Diana Award. What they all have in common is their belief that young people deserve to be valued, celebrated and recognised for their outstanding contributions,” the statement from Diana Award said.

“Across the two weeks, The Diana Awards have spotlighted several of their judges who have all worked extremely hard to sort through all of the amazing applications the organization has received,” the statement added.
