MUSCAT: The Directorate General of Agricultural Wealth and Water Resources in Al Batinah South Governorate has implemented a number of new projects.
These projects include the merger of an Omani company for mobilisation of dates and palms in Oman and establishing an integrated system for the production and marketing of produce through collection centres.
Three collection and packaging centres along with a model central department and 80 retail stores for produce and Omani cuisine will be established. These projects, working in coordination with various entities in the governorate, align with the investment map charted for the next five years.
