MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has urged worshippers to stick to the Covid-19 decisions of the Supreme Committee and to avoid any violation that may lead to the closure of non-compliant mosques.
In a statement issued, ROP also called for cooperation to report any violation by calling (1099) around the clock.
The Supreme Committee issued last Tuesday decisions on Ramadan stating that attendance at Taraweeh congregational prayers has to be exclusively limited to worshippers who received two-dose vaccination against Covid-19. Unvaccinated people, including children aged below 12 years, are prohibited to enter the mosques.
