MUSCAT : Indian Schools in Oman have started full-fledged onsite classes after a gap of two years. Children from the Kindergarten to Class 12 were excited about their first day in school and the schools were decked up to receive them adhering to all COVID protocols.

The Covid-19 pandemic disrupted education at an unprecedented scale, with education systems being impacted by extended school closures. The Schools are equipped to overcome the learning loss caused during the pandemic by implementing remedial measures to recover from the crisis and thereby strengthening the resilience of education system.

“The schools will make efforts to include plans to engage parent community, provide required resources for healthy and safe school environment. There will be a specific action plan to recover learning loss due to remote teaching,” said Dr. Sivakumar Manickam, Chairman, Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman.
