MUSCAT: Cindy Kero, Governor-General of New Zealand, on Wednesday, received Ambassador Dr. Mohammed bin Saeed bin Khalifa Al Busaidi to present his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to New Zealand, in the capital Wellington.
During the meeting, His Excellency conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Her Excellency, wishing His Majesty the friendly people of New Zealand further progress.
For her part, the Governor-General of New Zealand asked the Ambassador to convey her greetings and good wishes to His Majesty the Sultan.

She wished His Majesty continued health and happiness, and the Omani people further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty, and also wished the Ambassador success in performing his duties in a way that would result in the development of relations Bilateralism and rise to wider horizons in all fields.
During the meeting, emphasis was laid on the Sultanate of Oman’s keenness to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries and support their good relations to achieve the common interests of the two friendly peoples of Oman and New Zealand.
His Excellency also indicated that he will do everything in his power to advance the relations of the Sultanate of Oman with New Zealand.
