MUSCAT: The Ministry of Agricultural and Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources has issued a decision to ban the import of certain types of live fish, their derivatives and offal from Sibiu, Romania.
This decision is based on a recommendation from the World Organisation for Animal Health.
The ban shall remain in effect until revised and a decision is issued in this regard. Products which are treated and processed in accordance with the Aquatic Animal Health Law issued by the World Organisation for Animal Health is exempted from the ban.
