MUSCAT: A new dialysis centre, built on an area of 1,300 sq.m, was inaugurated in Wilayat of Al Amerat on Thursday.
The centre, which is worth at least OMR 1 million, has been built with facilities such as 42 beds, 10 of which are for isolation cases and five washrooms.
On Wednesday, the dialysis unit in the Wilayat of Seeb of the Directorate General of Health Services in the Governorate of Muscat revealed that it had carried out over 30,000 sessions in 2021. Over 216 patients have registered for the treatment of kidney failure.
