MUSCAT: The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, represented by the Department of Education and Women’s Guidance, has inaugurated the exhibition Paradise for Fasting on Monday, March 28.
The eighth edition of the exhibition will last for 3 days and is being held in the lecture hall of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Bausher.
The exhibition aims to strengthen the jurisprudence of fasting among women and school students and introducing them to its provisions and preparing them for the holy month.

The exhibition coincides with the reception of the holy month of Ramadan to demonstrate the importance of these blessed days in the life of a Muslim.
In a statement after the opening, Her Highness Sayyida Hujaija Al Said, patron of the occasion, stressed the importance of this exhibition for women and school students, as it contains important aspects, whether jurisprudence, spirituality, fatwas and rulings related to the blessed month of Ramadan.
Jokha bint Ali Al Harthiya, Assistant Director of Preaching and Guidance at the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, said in her speech, “The Paradise for Fasting exhibition is an episode in a series of annual events, and it seeks and contributes to optimal planning for investing the blessed month of Ramadan.”
She added, “This educational and educational exhibition for the provisions of fasting and related issues raised in various corners contributes to attracting all different segments of society through creatively presented paragraphs and programs.”
The exhibition includes five pillars – On the threshold of Rayan; The pillar of fasting; Fasting and the Qur’an; Educating them is our duty and Your health is our duty.
The exhibition continues for two periods – morning and evening and during the exhibition, many lectures will be held, including Questions from the Jurisprudence of Fasting, Where Are the Longing for Ramadan, and Educational Methods.
Her Highness Sayyida Hujaija Al Said toured the exhibition and listened to the explanation of the exhibition’s pillars.
