MUSCAT: At least five workers have been killed in a rockslide in Wilayat Ibri in Al Dhahirah Governorate, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said on Sunday.
In a statement issued, CDAA said five others were rescued, while a search is underway for missing people under the rubble.
“Five workers died in a rockslide in Al Arid area in Al Dhahirah Governorate in Wilayat Ibri. Five others were rescued and search operation is still underway,” CDAA added.
