MUSCAT: The Consumer Protection Authority in Khasab of Musandam Governorate has been carrying out an intensive campaign to monitor the markets ahead of the shopping season during the holy month of Ramadan.
In this light, the authority has been supervising commercial centres in Khasab. Certain illegal practices by suppliers and merchants were found during these supervisory checks. A number of violations have been issued by the authority’s control officers against those involved in illegal practices.
