MUSCAT: Oman-based homemaker Anita Dhande was crowned Divilacious Mrs India International at the Mrs India pageant held in the Indian city of Jaipur recently.
Anita won the coveted award among 22 participants from across the country.
Anita, who has been living in Muscat for past 11 years, thanked her family for the support.
Wife of Dr Ram, a consultant at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, and mother of two kids, Anita was delighted to have won the crown.
“It was a good event with contestants from across nations. I am happy to have been crowned the winner in the category (platinum) I entered in the paegent,” said Anita on her return to Muscat.

Organised by Mrs india Universe Organization (Divalicious Group), the overall winner secured a berth in the Mrs international and Mrs World pageants.
The event was organised for married women and held at Grand Uniara Hotel in Jaipur. It featured contestants in two age categories – 21-35 years and 35-47 years.
A total of 22 participants, including Anita, made it to the finals after the initial round.
