MUSCAT: His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, will visit India next week to discuss cooperation between the two countries.
According to news reports, the visit is expected to take place from March 23 to 24, and during his visit to New Delhi, the Omani Foreign Minister will hold talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr S. Jaishankar, as the two ministers had met last December in the UAE on the sidelines of a conference.
The report stated that the visit comes at a time when February witnessed a series of high-level visits of officials from the Omani Ministry of Defence to India, where the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser bin Ali Al Zaabi, and the Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman, Rear Admiral Saif Al Rahbi visited India last month.

It also added added that February also witnessed bilateral air force exercises in Jodhpur, between India and the Omani Air Force.
