MUSCAT: Reena Abdulrahman, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Alhind Tours and Travels has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sun Air after the popular travel company purchased 25% stake in the Africa-based airline.
Reena, who has over 22 years of experience working with top airlines in the region will also continue to oversee the Alhind Group’s operations in GCC, Bangladesh and Africa.
Reena worked previously with Oman’s SalamAir as Manager of Operations at Control Centre. Started her aviation career with leading airline Qatar Airways, Reena also held top position in UAE-based Air Arabia. Currently leading Alhind, a travel company that has over 2,000 employees and over 200 branches worldwide, Reena is instrumental in the Group’s expansion.
