MUSCAT: His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, expressed his hope for a final agreement on the Vienna negotiations, considering that they serve all parties and the region.
The Islamic Republic News Agency quoted His Excellency during a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, “The Sultanate of Oman has always believed in dialogue and negotiation to settle various crises, and is taking steps towards achieving peace, and hopes that the outcome of the agreements between the two countries will be completed and implemented soon.”
For his part, the Iranian Foreign Minister said that the Vienna negotiations did not stop, but were suspended for a short period in coordination with the European Union coordinator, and the Iranian chief negotiator continues his efforts to reach a good, strong and lasting agreement, and that the solution to the remaining issues that are among our red lines is linked to the will of the American side and not to be lost time,” and stated that Iran is very serious about reaching a good, reliable and lasting agreement.
