MUSCAT: After temporarily suspending the issuance and renewal of the Omani passport, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced that citizens can now visit the service centres in various governorates to complete procedures to receive a new passport.
In a statement issued on Monday, ROP said: “The Royal Oman Police draws the attention of the honorable citizens that it is possible to go to the service centers in the various governorates of the Sultanate to clear the procedures for issuing and renewing the Omani passport, starting from today, March 15, 2022 for all age groups.”
Earlier in January, ROP had announced that it is temporarily suspending the issuance and renewal of passport due to COVID-19.
