MUSCAT: His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Omar Al Marhoon, Oman’s designated ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, met with Naseer Khan Kashani, Chairman of the Pakistan Gwadar Port Authority.
The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Islamabad said in a tweet on Monday that during the meeting, they discussed prospects for cooperation and opportunities for communication between Omani ports and Gwadar port.
The port of Gwadar is located in the province of Balochistan, and is one of the most important ports of Pakistan, and it constitutes an important point on the economic transit route between Pakistan and China.
