MUSCAT: Oman has added a list of 24 additional food commodities that will be subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) at zero rates.
In a decision issued by the Tax Authority (No 89/2022) on Sunday, food commodities including barley, corn, wheat, soybeans and bird, poultry and animal feed have been added to VAT at zero per cent.
