MUSCAT : The 33rd session of the Consumer Confidence Survey for the first quarter of 2022 will continue for two weeks, the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) said.
The survey targets citizens of 18 years and over. “It is one of the important indicators of the performance of economic activity with the aim of measuring the situation of Omani families and the factors that affect negatively or positively the level of the Omani economy and identifying the future expectations of the economy and the economic situation of families at the present time and their purchasing power of various commodities in addition to the availability of current job opportunities and future expectations,” NCSI said.
The target sample size in this survey is a minimum of 1,500 male and female citizens distributed over the various governorates, and data will be collected by telephone.
