MUSCAT: The Oman Mountain Bike Endurance Championship, a qualifier for the World Endurance Mountain Bike Championship series, will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022. The endurance championship in Oman is ranked in the second level (out of 3 levels), where participants in the championship get points that qualify them to participate in the World Endurance Mountain Bike Championship series.
The championship will be held on mountain bike tracks in the Hamriya Mountains / Al Wadi Al Kabir in the Wilayat of Muttrah in the Governorate of Muscat, with the participation of Oman’s national cycling team.
The Oman Mountain Bike Endurance Championship consists of 5 transitional phases and 5 counting phases. The total distance of the track is 20 km. The track is suitable for intermediate and advanced riders, as the endurance races are designed to be a real test for mountain riders full of competition and challenge in one of the most beautiful terrains in the mountains of Oman.
