MUSCAT : His Grace The Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma, the 22nd Mar Thoma Metropolitan and supreme head of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church has visited the Indian Embassy in Oman on Tuesday and met with the Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Mr. Amit Narang.

His Grace Dr Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan is on an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman from the 7th March until the 13th of March 2022. This is his first visit to Oman after being consecrated as the Metropolitan.
Also present in the meeting were Rev. Sajan Varghese, Rev. Binu Thomas, Mr Santosh Kovoor and Dr Baby Sam Samuel.

Mar Theodosius began his priestly duties in 1973 having ordained as ‘Kasseesa’ on February 24, 1973. Later in 1989, he was consecrated as Episcopa on December 9, 1989. On July 12th 2020, he was given the title, The Suffragan Metropolitan and on November 14, 2020, Tirumeni was installed as the 22nd Mar Thoma Metropolitan with the title Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan.
