MUSCAT: With the Duqm Economic Zone being one of Oman’s main investment areas, an active investment and commercial movement in Al Wusta Governorate has made it an attractive environment for investment in 2021 due to its natural potential.
Abdoun bin Muhammad Al-Harsusi, Director of the Department of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion in Al Wusta Governorate, said that 38 foreign investment companies in Al Wusta Governorate were registered in 2021, bringing the total to 573 companies.
He indicated that 6,039 new commercial records in Al Wusta Governorate were granted by the end of 2021 for companies of all kinds.
