MUSCAT: His Excellency Abdullah bin Hussain Al Mashoor BaOmar, a member of the Majlis Al Shura representing the Wilayat of Salalah for the ninth period passed away on Sunday.
Tributes poured in for the veteran parliamentarian who was considered the “voice of Dhofar”.
“You gave your life to the nation. We will never forget you,” said Omani citizen Faisal Al Marhoon.

“His affable style, untiring loyalty and dedication to the work is remembered fondly by all. He remains in our thoughts,” said Mohammed Al Hashmi from Salalah.
Majlis Al Shura also paid homage to BaOmar. “His life was full of achievements, and he gave everything in the service of Oman,” Shura Council said.
