MUSCAT: The Ministry of Labour published a list of new entrants in the public and private sectors during 2021. The list came in 782 pages with the names of the new entrants 2021.
Professor Mahad Bin Said Bin Ali Baawain, Minister of Labour stated in one of the interviews that 41,504 people were employed in 2021, noting that the number of jobs announced in the government sector amounted to 19,097, and the number of those appointed in the private sector was 49,276. The number of job rotations reached 28,989, and the number of those appointed by job replacement reached 13,620.
