MOSCOW : Russia has banned British airlines from crossing its airspace or landing at its airports. This announcement came soon after UK denied to let any flights of Russia’s national airline Aeroflot to land in the country.
This ban was part of the sanctions imposed by the UK as Moscow moved to invade Ukraine. The Ukrainian airspace has been closed since Thursday after the Russian military invasion began in the country.
