MUSCAT: More than 65,000 Omani citizens were appointed in the public and private sectors in 2021, the Minister of Labour said on Thursday.
His Excellency Professor Mahad Bin Said Bin Ali Baawain also said 3,599 people have been employed in Ministry of Education, while 1,999 people are employed in Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, the total number of beneficiaries of the job security system reached 10,995. “Those who hold an educational qualification without a general diploma constitute the largest percentage of them, by more than 46%,” the Minister added.
