Rationalisation plan saves govt OMR 80 million in 2021: Oman Investment Authority

MUSCAT: The rationalisation plan by Oman Investment Authority could save more than OMR 80 million from state-owned-companies in 2021, Oman Investment Authority (OIA) said on Wednesday.

Addressing the media to talk about its annual plans, Sheikh Nasser bin Sulaiman Al Harthy, Acting Vice President for Operations of OIA said the authority is expected to save about OMR 120 million from state-owned-companies this year. “We have conducted a comprehensive research on institutions as part of the steps to activate the “Tarsheed” program,” Al Harthy added.
