MUSCAT: Oman on Sunday launched its first electric car in what could be a giant step towards cementing its place as a major automotive hub.
Owned by Mays Motors, the company funded by Oman Technology Fund, is expected to produce 300 cars as part of its first phase. Bookings for the first 100 vehicles have already been completed.
