MUSCAT: The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation issued a statement on the decisions of the Committee for the Recognition of Non-Omani Higher Education Institutions and the Equivalency of Academic Qualifications.

The ministry has made it clear that the Committee for the Recognition of Non-Omani Higher Education Institutions and the Equivalency of Academic Qualifications held its first and second meetings for this year, where the committee came out with a number of important decisions.

The ministry indicated that this comes within the framework of its role in considering applications for recognition of higher education institutions outside the Sultanate of Oman, and evaluating university and higher academic certificates issued by these institutions.
