MUSCAT: Over 500,000 people (17% of total population) have received the booster dose, according to a new statistics issued by the Ministry of Health revealed.
“The total number of people who took the third dose stands at 507,440” MOH said.
Among those vaccinated, 363,242 expatriates took the third dose, while only 144,198 Omani citizens took the booster jab.

Meanwhile, 95% of the population received (3,191,912) the first dose while 89% (2,976,872) got the second dose.
Oman on Tuesday registered over 2,300 cases and 8 deaths.
