MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, President of Sri Lanka, on the occasion of his country’s independence anniversary.
In it, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincerest congratulations and best wishes to him of good health and happiness, and to the friendly Sri Lankan people of continuous progress and prosperity.
