MUSCAT: H.E. Asilah bint Salem Al Samsamiya, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Investment Promotion, on Wednesday, received Peter Szijjarto, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and his accompanying delegation, who is on a visit in the Sultanate of Oman.
During the meeting, they reviewed the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries, discussed investment and economic cooperation, discussed developing and enhancing cooperation in the trade and investment fields, and discussed prospects for trade and investment cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and Hungary with the aim of enhancing and increasing trade exchange between the two sides.
On the other hand, the facilities and incentives provided by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and investment promotion for investors were reviewed, as well as a review of many investment opportunities in the industrial sector and multiple sectors, as well as a discussion of renewable energy, food industries, fish sector and topics of common interest between the two sides to take advantage of the opportunities and possibilities available, especially in the fields of tourism and industry and scientific research, mining, and economic diversification sectors targeted by Oman Vision 2040.
