Saudi Cabinet approves talks on maritime transport with Oman

The approval came on Tuesday during a session held at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.

MUSCAT: The Saudi Cabinet, on Tuesday, approved discussions with Oman regarding a draft cooperation agreement between the government of the Kingdom and the government of the Sultanate of Oman in the field of maritime transport.

This came during the session chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, which was held at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.

The Council decided to authorise His Excellency Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Transport Authority – or his representative – to discuss with the Omani side a draft cooperation agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman in the field of maritime transport, and to sign it. Then upload the final signed copy, to complete the legal procedures.
