MUSCAT: Oman’s total population increased by 1.04 per cent at the end of 2021 to reach over 4.5 million people, the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) report revealed.
In a statement issued through the Oman News Agency (ONA), NCSI said expatriates constituted 38.06 per cent of total population to reach 1,723,329 at the end of 2021.
“The population of Oman at the end of 2021 increased by 1.04 percent to reach 4,527,446 people. Expatriates constituted 38.06 percent of the total population, reaching 1,723,329,” ONA added.
