MUSCAT : The Sultanate of Oman is expected to be affected by the upper trough of low pressure area starting from Friday evening until the next few days, the weather report issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), on Friday afternoon, has revealed.
The weather will be cloudy over the governorates of Musandam and top parts of North Al-Batinah with chances of rain (20-50mm), occasionally thundershowers, strong winds, flash floods in wadis. There will be chances of clouds advection and isolated rain over governorates of North Al-Batinah, Buraimi and coastal areas of Oman Sea.
Rough sea condition can be expected along the coastal areas of Musandam Governorate and Oman Sea coasts with maximum wave height of 3 metres.

The authority has advised all to take adequate precautions during the rain and be wary of the sea conditions before sailing.
