MUSCAT : As part of the implementation of His Majesty’s High Directives, Sultan Haitham bin Tarik by funding entrepreneurship programs, the Omani Development Bank has announced an increase in its project financing budget to RO 86 million in 2022. Most of them were allocated to entrepreneurship and SMEs.
Abdul Azim bin Abbas Al Bahrani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Omani Development Bank, assured the Omani News Agency of the Bank’s commitment to high directives and looks forward to actively contributing to the realisation of His Majesty’s vision to encourage his sons, pioneers and entrepreneurs to start their own businesses.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Omani Development Bank refers to the bank’s role in managing government portfolios and financing programs such as the SME Development Authority portfolio and the concessional loan program for agricultural and animal projects affected by the Shaheen tropical situation.

The emergency loan programme is for projects affected by the repercussions of COVID-19 pandemic and other factors.
