MUSCAT: The Government Communication Centre on Sunday denied a rumour circulated on social media regarding the suspension of Friday prayers.
In a statement issued, GC said the news is not true. “The news that is being circulated is old and dates back to the precautionary measures taken by the Supreme Committee in March 2020. We urge everyone to take the information from official sources,” GC said in the statement.
