RIYADH: Saudi Arabia on Wednesday confirmed its first case of the COVID-19 omicron variant on a passenger coming from Africa, state news agency SPA reported.
According the report, the passenger, along with those he was in contact with, has been isolated.
Saudi Arabia has recently lifted its ban on direct travel from several countries and the Kingdom continued to relax COVID-19 travel restrictions.
