MUSCAT: The Supreme Committee on Thursday issued a decision to vaccinate children from the age of 5 to 12 starting from the first week of November.
The committee also decided to return students of grades 5-11 to receive 100% direct education in all schools, starting from November 1, 2021.
The committee also approved the use of third dose of COVID-19 vaccine (booster dose) to some groups in order to enhance the level of protection. The Ministry of Health will formulate the plan and details shortly.
