MUSCAT: Following two straight defeats, Oman came from behind to beat Vietnam 3-1 in the 2022 World Cup Asian qualifiers at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Baushar on Tuesday.
Essam Al Sobhi, Mohsen Gohar, Salah Al Yahyai scored the three goals for Oman.
With the big win, Oman has now earned three points from the game. Earlier, the Red Warriors lost to Saudi Arabia and Australia. The Branko Ivankovic side will next play China on November 11.
