MUSCAT: Schools in Suwaiq and Al Khaburah in North Al Batinah governorates will continue to remain closed until October 14, the Ministry of Education said on Saturday.
In a statement issued, MOE said the schools in these two wilayats will resume classes on October 17. “This is due to the tropical cyclone Shaheen that was affected in these places, and in order to preserve the safety and health of our students, schools in Suwaiq and Al Khaburah will remain shut till October 14,” MOE said.
