DUBAI: In what could be a major decision, UAE on Wednesday said wearing face masks will no longer be required to enter certain places, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP) and National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) announced.
According to the decision, people will not need to wear face masks when exercising in public places and while on private vehicles for residents living in the same house, as well as beachgoers, and while in open swimming pools.
The decision comes after UAE reported a significant drop in new coronavirus cases and an aggressive national immunization campaign.
