MUSCAT: Zeeshan Maqsood will lead Oman in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup which will be held in Muscat and UAE from October 17, Oman Cricket announced on Wednesday.
Oman will play their first round at home against Bangladesh, Scotland and Papua New Guinea (PNG) in Group B.
The top-two teams from this group will make it to the Super 12s, which will be played in the UAE.

Aqib Ilyas has been named the vice-captain of the team coached by Sri Lankan cricket legend Duleep Mendis.
Star batsman Jatinder Singh, allrounders Sufyan Mehmood and Khawar Ali and pacer Bilal Khan are also in the team.
