MUSCAT: Oman beat heavyweights Japan 1-0 in their opening match of group B at the deciding round qualifier to 2022 Fifa World Cup and 2023 AFC Asian Cup on Thursday.
The match played at the Panasonic Suita Stadium in Tokyo saw the Red Warriors completely dominating the Japanese.
