MUSCAT: Entry inside all airports in the country will be restricted to vaccinated people only starting from September 1, Oman Airports has confirmed.
The decision comes after the Supreme Committee has imposed mandatory vaccination for both citizens and residents to enter public places including government institutions, shopping malls, and restaurants.
“Further to the instructions provided by the Supreme Committee in charge of dealing with the developments of Covid-19 and our emphasis on providing a safe environment for all, we would like to report that the access to Omani Airports will be restricted only to the vaccinated personnel. This decision shall be effective from Wednesday 1st September 2021, and will include all Oman Airport users and strategic stakeholders,” Oman Airports said.
