MUSCAT : Oman on Tuesday welcomed the initiatives announced by Saudi Arabia to end crisis in Yemen.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “The Sultanate welcomes the initiative announced by the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to reach a political solution to the crisis in the sisterly Republic of Yemen.”
“It affirms that it will continue to work with the Kingdom, the United Nations and the concerned Yemeni parties with the aim of achieving the desired political settlement that restores security and stability to brotherly Yemen in a manner that preserves the security and interests of the countries of the region.”
