MUSCAT: Wajid Ali’s superb half century and Mohazin Moosa’s brilliant bowling powered Pitspot to a thumping 75-run victory against Team Coorg Muscat (TCM) in a Junior Division Knockout tournament game at Muscat Municipailty ground 4 in Amerat on Friday.
Wahid’s 27-ball 50 was the highlight of Pitspot’s total of 222 for 6. TCM failed to bat with the same flourish, managing only 147 for 8 due largely to Mohazin’s superb 3 for 21 off 4 overs including a maiden.
