MUSCAT: The Philippine Embassy in Oman has closed for two days after one of its personnel tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement issued on Monday by the embassy said no frontline services will be provided on 15 and 16 March. However, Philippine Overseas Labour Office (POLO-Muscat) will remain open.
“This precautionary measure is being taken in the interest of the safety of the general public and Philippine Embassy personnel, and to allow them to undergo PCR tests,” the embassy said in the statement.
