MUSCAT: The Supreme Committee has exempted home delivery services and tyre shops located in fuel stations from night closure ban between 8pm to 5am, Oman TV reported on Friday.

“Petrol stations, health institutions, private pharmacies, home delivery services, and shops selling and repairing vehicle tyres located in gas stations are now exempted from the night closure,” the statement said.

The home delivery also includes food from restaurants, the Government Communication Centre said.

According to the earlier decision from the committee, all commercial activities must close at night in the wake of rising coronavirus cases.
