MUSCAT: Forbes Middle East has published its annual “Top CEOs in the Middle East”, recognizing the executives making significant contributions to the region’s economies.
The list includes four top executives from Oman including Abdulrahman Salim Al Hatmi, Group CEO of ASYAD, Raoul Restucci, Managing Director of Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Talal Said Al Mamari, CEO of Omantel and Abdulaziz Al Balushi, Group CEO of Ominvest.
Al Hatmi who is ranked 15th in the Forbes list oversaw the inception of ASYAD and the development of Oman’s National Logistics Strategy 2040, which aims to put the Sultanate amongst the world’s top ten logistics hubs. Restucci who is ranked 25 in the list has been with PDO for the last 10 years. Al Mamari who is 45th in the list aided Omantel’s full legal merger with Oman Mobile and its acquisition of 21.9% in Zain Group, Al Balushi’s leadership, Omnivest merged with ONIC Holding in 2015, creating the largest publicly-listed investment company in Oman. Ominvest is among the largest diversified groups in Oman with assets worth $7 billion in 2020.
